Much of that information was already available to them, anyway.
Additionally, there are other information gathering tools on the Internet, which, by its very nature, makes it easy to get information on people.
Finally, any intelligence gleaned from social networking sites is highly suspect.
Yep, people are getting used to the idea of having their private information put out there.
A few days ago a young girl I know actually mentioned that she thought it would be "fun" to have cameras up in our place of work. So that we could be recorded, for people to watch - just like on the Big Brother TV series.
That's what it's all about. Conditioning people, one step at a time.
